The all-in-one Premiere Pro extension, panel by panel

Updated 2026-10-31 · by the mouzeclick team · Also in Español, Português (Brasil), Bahasa Indonesia

mouzeclick is an all-in-one Premiere Pro extension: one plan puts a silence remover, retakes, captions written on your own computer, safe-frame guides, timeline tools, effect search, a toolbar and eight extension panels inside Premiere, plus a workspace panel. All of it runs on Windows. On a Mac you get the silence remover, guides, timeline tools and panels, but not the workspace, captions or Retakes.

  • mouzeclick Studio: Silence, Captions, Retakes, Timeline and Guides tabs
  • Eight Premiere Pro extensions plus Search effects and the Toolbar
  • A Premiere Pro workspace panel with 300+ tools, presets and templates, Windows only
  • Silences and captions are worked out on your computer; no audio is uploaded
  • One plan with everything in it, $25 a month, and a 3-day trial with no card
  • 5,000+ features in mouzeclick: every tool, preset, style, effect and action across the app and both workspaces

What does an all-in-one Premiere Pro extension replace?

It can replace a stack of single-job plug-ins: one to cut silence, one for captions, one for zooms or templates, and a panel of small timeline fixes. With mouzeclick those jobs sit in four places inside Premiere Pro, all on one licence:

  • mouzeclick Studio, a panel with five tabs for silence, captions, retakes, timeline tools and safe-frame guides.
  • Two everyday panels: Search effects and the mouzeclick Toolbar.
  • Eight extensions, one per job, from animated looks to beat cuts and markers.
  • The mouzeclick workspace for Premiere Pro, on Windows: one panel with its own toolbox, caption studio, cut desk, colours and easing curves.

The mouse side, the 112-tool Tool wheel and one-press Unnest, has its own page: Premiere Pro tools on the Tool wheel. This page covers the panels.

Counted from the shipped code, the Premiere Pro workspace alone holds 300+ tools, presets and templates, and the two workspaces together, After Effects included, more than 1,000. The count matters less than one install and one licence instead of a panel from each vendor. It does not replace a library of thousands of ready-made titles, noise reduction, or Premiere's own Speech to Text if plain English captions are enough.

What is inside mouzeclick Studio for Premiere Pro?

Studio is one panel, opened from Window › Extensions › mouzeclick Studio, with five tabs: Silence, Captions, Retakes, Timeline and Guides. It reads your clips on your computer, marks what it would change, and changes nothing until you press the button.

Silence (Windows and Mac)

Select clips and press Analyse: Studio reads the sound itself and marks every pause. It starts at quieter than −40 dB, pauses from 0.40 s, and 0.12 s kept around speech. Untick any pause to keep it. Remove cuts the rest on every track and closes the gaps. A music bed underneath is left alone, and a copy of the sequence is kept. More in the Premiere Pro silence remover guide.

Captions (Windows only)

Whisper, the open speech model, writes the captions on your machine: Fast (60 MB), Accurate (190 MB) or Best (574 MB), each downloaded once. 47 languages plus detection, Hinglish in Roman letters and Hindi in Devanagari. You transcribe, read through, fix any word, then create them on Premiere's own caption track or Styled on the video in 289 looks in 27 families, in any font on your computer. See auto captions in Premiere Pro and Hinglish captions.

Retakes (Windows only)

Retakes reads the transcript and finds every restart; the earlier try is struck through and the last take stays. Um and uh, and words said twice, are optional. One press removes them, with a copy of the sequence kept. The retake remover guide walks through a take.

Timeline (Windows and Mac)

Unnest (nests, multicam and merged clips), Spread and Close synced around Premiere's own Clip › Synchronize, Zoom every other clip, Copy frame, Paste image, Fix pitch, Close all gaps, adjustment layers and tidying into bins. Undo mouzeclick edit takes back the last Unnest, Spread or Close. Step by step in the Premiere Pro unnest guide.

Guides (Windows and Mac)

Safe frame and guides for 65 platform presets, from TikTok and Reels to Moj and ShareChat, on a track of their own. Hide them before you export; the tab warns you while they show.

Which panels come with the all-in-one Premiere Pro extension?

Besides Studio you get two everyday panels and eight extensions, each under Window › Extensions, on Windows and on Mac. Every card, with its own demo, is on the extensions page.

  • Search effects. Type a few letters and it lists every installed effect and transition, audio and plug-ins included. Enter applies it to the selected clip; Shift+Enter applies it and pins it to your Tool wheel.
  • mouzeclick Toolbar. 14 quick Premiere Pro jobs, each with its name and what it does. Keys 1 to 9 run pinned tools, and it docks as a list, cards, icons or one row.
  • mouzestate. Set a clip's start and end look (position, scale, rotation, opacity, crop) and it keys the move with ease, spring or bounce, as Premiere's own keyframes, so the clips play without any plug-in. 15 ready looks, up to 40 clips at once.
  • mouzsplit. Split screens and reframes built as a real Premiere sequence: seven layouts in 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9, source left alone.
  • mouzegrade. Click what should be white, black or skin and drag, with waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope and histogram, six looks and .cube LUTs. Apply writes an ordinary colour effect.
  • mouzezoom. Drag a box on a screen recording to zoom into it, on a gradient background with rounded corners, with callouts and blur for private details.
  • mouzetrans. 11 transitions on your cuts: on the cut under the playhead, between two selected clips, or on every cut between them.
  • mouzebeat. Finds the beat, lets you check it by ear, then marks, cuts on 1, 2, 4 or 8 beats and ducks music under dialogue.
  • mouzebin. Sorts a project's bins by your rules and finds unused, duplicate and offline media. Files on disk are never deleted, and Restore puts back its last change.
  • mouzemark. Turns markers into YouTube chapters, CSV, text, SRT, EDL or JSON files, edits, sequences or subclips.

What does the mouzeclick workspace for Premiere Pro add?

The workspace is one more panel, Windows only, with its sections behind a switcher and a search box: Toolbox, Caption studio, Cut desk, Motion lab, Color desk, Easing lab, Nest studio, Library and Editors. mouzeclick installs it for you; open it from Window › Extensions › mouzeclick workspace. It opens on Toolbox, press / to search, and it comes in six themes.

  • Toolbox. Nine anchor buttons, Nest sep, True dup and Un-nest, Smart synchronise, J-cut and L-cut, Freeze frame, a QC check for black gaps, flash frames and offline media, and 10 Quick Effects tiles.
  • Caption studio. Captions, Word Pop (one text clip per word), Transcript and Editor. Eight speech models download on first use and run on your computer, in 39 languages plus Hinglish in Roman letters, or on Auto Detect.
  • Cut desk. Silence & Cut with three starting presets, Dialogue, Podcast and Aggressive (−48, −44 and −38 dB), then threshold, minimum silence, minimum kept and padding. Choose Remove + ripple, or Cuts only to decide each cut yourself. AutoCamera cuts 2 to 8 camera angles to whoever is talking and disables off-air angles rather than deleting them. AutoZoom adds plain zoom-in, hold and zoom-out keyframes; the auto zoom guide has the settings.
  • Motion lab. Caption Stack (six looks, five entrance animations; drawn as images, not editable text), Sequence Resizer (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 4K or 720p) and Organize Project.
  • Color desk. 202 colour presets: SaaS and trending palettes, gradients and marketing solids.
  • Easing lab. Six curve types and 43 ready curves, baked into keyframes.
  • Nest studio, Library, Editors. Nest decks with 40 key slots, an asset library shared with the After Effects workspace, and a Reference Viewer, Board and Storyboard.

Screenshots of every section are on the workspaces page. On an interview, run the first pass with Cuts only, so you see every cut before anything ripples.

What can Premiere Pro already do without an extension?

Captions, caption translation, pause deletion and reframing are built in, so pay for an extension only where Premiere still falls short.

  • Speech to Text is included in the Premiere subscription. Adobe lists 18 transcription languages, Hindi among them, and translation of captions into 27. From Premiere 22.2 it works offline once a language pack is installed.
  • Single-word captions arrived natively in Premiere 26.3 (June 2026), generated from a transcript.
  • Pauses: text-based editing can detect the pauses in a transcript and delete them.
  • Auto Reframe: Sequence › Auto Reframe Sequence, with a target aspect ratio and a motion-tracking setting of Slower Motion, Default or Faster Motion.
  • Clip › Synchronize lines up recordings by audio, timecode or clip markers, and Edit › Label colours clips.

What is still missing is narrower: Hinglish in Roman letters (an Adobe feature request for it is still open for voting), an Unnest command, a guide layer on the timeline that shows but doesn't export, and a fill with no black bars in one press. The Premiere Pro tools page lists each gap next to what Premiere does on its own.

How does it compare with AutoCut, FireCut and Animation Composer?

Each covers some of the same jobs and does something mouzeclick doesn't. mouzeclick puts silence, captions, timeline tools and eight panels in one plan, but it has no large template library and no stock B-roll. Prices are as each maker's page showed them on 31 October 2026, in the maker's currency.

Two things the table can't show. AutoCut and FireCut call themselves AI plug-ins, and FireCut needs an internet connection for its AI, transcription and stock features, with transcription counted in hours per month. Studio's silence remover reads audio levels, and mouzeclick's speech models run on your computer. Full pages: AutoCut alternative, FireCut alternative and Animation Composer alternative.

When is AutoCut, FireCut or Animation Composer the better pick?

When you want captions on a Mac, cut in DaVinci Resolve too, or need thousands of ready-made assets:

  • AutoCut if you work in Premiere and DaVinci Resolve, including the free Resolve; if you are on a Mac and want silence, captions and zoom in one plug-in; or if silence is the only job: its Basic tier, at $79 billed yearly, costs less than mouzeclick's yearly price in US dollars. It also lists B-roll from Storyblocks, a profanity filter and chapters.
  • FireCut if you want transcript-driven extras: script-based edits and an ElevenLabs voiceover (both on its Max plan), highlight clips, stock B-roll and music, or Resolve on Linux. The trade-off is an internet connection for those features and transcription capped at 25 hours a month on Pro and 100 on Max.
  • Animation Composer if your edits live on ready-made titles and transitions: a free plan allowed for commercial work, over 6,000 paid assets, and projects that keep working if the plug-in is removed.

mouzeclick fits when you want Hinglish in Roman letters and captions that stay on your computer (both on Windows), timeline fixes Premiere has no command for, and one licence for After Effects and your mouse too.

Is one plan cheaper than separate Premiere Pro plugins?

Only if you would otherwise pay for two or more of them. For a single job, a single-purpose tool usually costs less.

The sums in US dollars, as the makers' pages showed them on 31 October 2026: AutoCut's AI Plan at $178.8 billed yearly plus Animation Composer's annual plan at $198 comes to $376.80 a year. AutoCut's silence-only Basic tier alone is $79 a year. mouzeclick is $249 for a year, or $25 a month. In dollars, mouzeclick is not the cheapest way to cut silence. It starts to make sense when you count the timeline tools, panels and After Effects side, plus captions and the workspace on Windows, that you would otherwise buy separately.

Two ways to bring the price down. A creator's or a friend's code takes 10% off a new customer's first 30-day or 1-year payment. A lifetime key is $499 once, only for the first 100 keys sold; it works for as long as mouzeclick runs, and retiring the service needs at least 60 days' notice. Every option is in the pricing section.

Does the all-in-one Premiere Pro extension work on Mac?

Partly. On a Mac running macOS 12 or newer, Apple Silicon or Intel, you get Studio's Silence, Timeline and Guides tabs, the Toolbar, Search effects, the eight extensions and the Tool wheel. The workspace, auto captions, styled captions, Hinglish and Retakes are Windows only, and so are cloud sync and in-app updates.

Apple has not notarized the Mac app yet, so macOS asks you to allow it once and to grant Accessibility and Input Monitoring; the steps are on the Mac install page. One key moves between Windows and Mac, one computer at a time.

How do you install it and open the panels in Premiere?

Install mouzeclick, add the Premiere bridge, restart Premiere, and every panel is under Window › Extensions.

  1. Start the 3-day trial (no card) or buy a key. The key email has the Windows and Mac download links; they are on your account page too.
  2. Install mouzeclick and enter the key. There is no driver.
  3. In the app, open the Tool wheel page and press Install Premiere bridge. Restart Premiere Pro.
  4. Open Window › Extensions and pick mouzeclick Studio, mouzeclick Toolbar or any of the eight extensions. On Windows the workspace is added for you: Window › Extensions › mouzeclick workspace.
  5. Keep mouzeclick running, online, while you work.

After that, mouzeclick keeps its Premiere extension files up to date itself.

Why is a mouzeclick panel missing from Window › Extensions?

Usually Premiere was open when the bridge went in, or mouzeclick isn't running. Work down this list:

  • Restart Premiere after Install Premiere bridge, then open a project before you look under Window › Extensions.
  • Check that mouzeclick is running in the tray or menu bar, and that you are online.
  • No workspace on a Mac? Expected: the Mac app does not include it.
  • Workspace captions stuck? Each speech model downloads on first use, the two Indian-language models may ask you to accept their publisher's terms, and the local engines need Python 3.11 or 3.12. Install / fix dependencies in the engine drawer checks this and can install Python 3.12 for you.
  • Label colours not changing clips? mouzeclick colours timeline clips through Premiere's own Edit › Label command, which needs its shortcuts. Close Premiere, then press Set them up for me: it writes all sixteen into Premiere's shortcut file and keeps a backup.
  • An edit went wrong? Undo mouzeclick edit takes back the last Unnest, Spread or Close in one press. It changes nothing if you have edited since.

Put the whole Premiere toolkit in one panel. One plan with everything included, $25 a month, or $249 for a year.

Questions people ask

Is mouzeclick a Premiere Pro plug-in or an extension?

An extension. Studio, the Toolbar, Search effects and the eight panels open under Window › Extensions inside Premiere Pro, and a small mouzeclick app runs beside Premiere to connect them and run the Tool wheel. What it makes is ordinary Premiere material: cuts, keyframes, caption tracks, colour effects and sequences.

Does mouzeclick upload my footage or audio?

No. Silence detection and captions run on your computer. The speech model downloads once (Fast 60 MB, Accurate 190 MB or Best 574 MB in Studio), and after that your audio never leaves the machine. The app itself still needs an internet connection while it runs, because it checks your licence online.

Which Premiere Pro version do I need?

The panel files support Premiere Pro 2020 (version 14.0) or later. That is what the files declare, not a list of tested versions, so try it on the version you edit in. The 3-day trial includes the Premiere Pro and After Effects tools on one computer and needs no card: enough to run Silence, Unnest and, on Windows, Captions on a real project before you pay.

Can I edit the captions after they are on the timeline?

It depends on the kind. Subtitles, Short, Social and Word by word go on Premiere's own caption track, editable in Premiere like any caption. Styled on the video and the workspace's Caption Stack are rendered as images (which is why Premiere needs none of the fonts), so fix the words in Studio first: double-click a caption to correct it, and use Replace all for a name that is wrong everywhere.

Does the same plan cover After Effects?

Yes. The plan includes 15 After Effects extensions, the After Effects Tool wheel with 114 tools in 13 groups and, on Windows, the After Effects workspace. mouzegrade and Search effects work in both apps. The After Effects side has its own page: the all-in-one After Effects extension.

What happens to my edits if my plan ends?

They stay. When your time ends the app pauses and your mouse works as a normal mouse, but what mouzeclick made is Premiere's own material: mouzestate moves are Premiere keyframes, mouzegrade writes an ordinary colour effect, caption tracks are Premiere captions and styled captions are images on a track.

Is there a free trial of the all-in-one extension?

Yes, 3 days with no card. The key arrives by email and the 3 days start the first time you use it in the app; use it within 14 days of the email. It is one trial per person and per computer, with the Premiere Pro and After Effects tools working. The Options and Orbit wheels hold 3 favourites until you pay.
