mouzeclick for Mac

Customise your mouse buttons, wheels and gestures per app: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut, Chrome and more. Works with any mouse. Needs macOS 12 or newer, on Apple Silicon or Intel.

Same app, same licence key and same price as on Windows. A key runs on one computer at a time, Windows or Mac. To switch computers, release the old one from your account page or inside the app. The download comes with your licence: your key email has the Windows and Mac links; they are also on your account page.

No key yet? See the price: everything included, was $40, now $25 a month.

On a Mac, auto-captions, cloud sync and in-app updates are not there yet; they are Windows only for now.

Install in 4 steps

  1. Step 01

    Drag it to Applications.

Open the downloaded file, drag mouzeclick into Applications, then open it.

  2. Step 02

    Allow it once.

macOS says it can’t be opened, because Apple has not notarized the app yet. Click Done, open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, click Open Anyway next to mouzeclick and enter your Mac password.

Advanced: or run this in Terminal.

    xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/mouzeclick.app
  3. Step 03

    Give it the two permissions.

In the same Privacy & Security page, switch mouzeclick on under Accessibility and Input Monitoring (use + if it is not listed). Then quit it from the menu-bar icon and open it again.

  4. Step 04

    Activate.

Click the menu-bar icon › Open settings, paste your licence key and press Activate.

On a MacBook

The wheels use Fn + F8 and Fn + F9. Or turn on “Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys” in System Settings › Keyboard and press F8 and F9 on their own.
