Header and preview strip 6

  • RefreshAction

Reads the selected clip and the frame at Premiere's playhead again into the panel.

  • TidyAction

After a second press, removes everything mouzezoom added to the clip: zoom keys, background, callouts, blurs, spotlights, cards.

  • PreviewTool

Plays the selected zoom, or every zoom on the clip, inside the panel on the last full frame.

  • Previous zoomTool

Selects the previous zoom in time and moves the playhead to its start.

  • Next zoomTool

Selects the next zoom in time and moves the playhead to its start.

  • Timeline stripTool

Shows the clip's zooms and placed items; clicking moves Premiere's playhead to that point of the clip.

Zoom 12

  • Add zoomAction

Writes Scale and Position keyframes zooming into the drawn rectangle from the playhead, holding, then easing back out.

  • Update clipAction

Rewrites the edited zooms onto the clip, replacing only mouzezoom's own keyframes.

  • RemoveAction

Removes the selected zoom from the clip and rewrites the remaining zoom keyframes.

  • SmoothStyle

Zoom curve that eases in and out.

  • SnappyStyle

Zoom curve that moves quickly, then settles.

  • GentleStyle

Zoom curve that stays soft all the way through.

  • LinearStyle

Zoom curve at an even speed.

  • ExactPreset

Writes a key on every frame while the view moves, so Premiere plays the curve exactly as previewed.

  • BezierPreset

Writes four Bezier keys per zoom, easy to adjust by hand in Effect Controls.

  • Whole framePreset

With a background on, zooms the recording and its background together, like a camera.

  • Inside the windowPreset

With a background on, zooms only the recording inside its window; the background stays still.

  • Draw in the frame's shapeTool

Keeps the drawn zoom rectangle in the frame's own proportions while dragging or resizing.

Frame 10

  • LagoonStyle

Background gradient from deep blue through sky blue to cyan.

  • DuskStyle

Background gradient from indigo through violet to pink.

  • EmberStyle

Background gradient from dark brown through orange to yellow.

  • MossStyle

Background gradient from dark green through teal to lime.

  • SlateStyle

Dark background gradient from near-black navy to slate grey.

  • PaperStyle

Light background gradient from off-white through pale grey to soft lavender.

  • CandyStyle

Pastel background gradient from pink through lavender to light blue.

  • BrandStyle

Background gradient made from your three chosen brand colours.

  • Apply backgroundAction

Places a gradient picture above the clip and shrinks the recording into a rounded, shadowed window; zooms are rewritten.

  • Remove backgroundAction

Takes the mouzezoom background off and returns the recording to its full frame.

Callouts 7

  • BoxEffect

A rounded outline box around the dragged area, placed as a picture above the clip.

  • ArrowEffect

An arrow from where you press to where you release, placed as a picture above the clip.

  • LabelEffect

A coloured pill with your words where you drag, placed above the clip.

  • StepEffect

A numbered circle badge where you click; the number counts up after each one is placed.

  • UnderlineEffect

A line under the dragged area, placed as a picture above the clip.

  • ColourStyle

Sets the callout colour from six swatches, your first brand colour, or your own picked colour.

  • Add calloutAction

Places the callout at the playhead on a free track above the clip for the set time, fading in and out.

Blur 5

  • BlurEffect

Places the project's adjustment layer with Gaussian Blur, cropped to the area, so it follows what plays underneath.

  • PixelateEffect

Places the project's adjustment layer with Mosaic, cropped to the area.

  • CoverEffect

Places a frosted still patch made from the current frame over the area; needs no adjustment layer.

  • to the endTool

Makes the blur last from the playhead to the clip's end instead of a set duration.

  • Add blurAction

Hides the chosen area from the playhead on, using Blur, Pixelate or Cover.

Spotlight 1

  • Add spotlightEffect

Darkens the frame except a soft rounded area, placed above the clip from the playhead with a fade.

Titles 3

  • Card coloursStyle

Picks the title card gradient from the same eight palettes, such as Dusk, Lagoon or Brand.

  • Add introTemplate

Places a gradient title card with your title and subtitle over the clip's first seconds, fading in and out.

  • Add outroTemplate

Places a gradient title card with your title and subtitle over the clip's last seconds, fading in and out.

On this clip 1

  • Take it off the timelineAction

Removes one placed callout, spotlight, card, cover or blur from the timeline.

More in mouzezoom

Six tabs: Zoom, Frame, Callouts, Blur, Spotlight, Titles. Eight background palettes (Lagoon, Dusk, Ember, Moss, Slate, Paper, Candy, Brand) are shared by Frame and Titles. Callout colours: six swatches plus brand colour and a custom picker. The Zoom scope options only show when a background is on. Blur and Pixelate need an adjustment layer in the project; Cover does not.
