Toolbar 5

  • Grab frameAction

Brings the frame under the playhead into the panel, without mouzegrade's own grade, and restores a clip's earlier mouzegrade grade.

  • UndoAction

Steps the grade back one change inside the panel; Apply writes the result.

  • RedoAction

Redoes the last grade change undone in the panel.

  • ResetAction

Puts the grade back to no grade; Apply then switches mouzegrade's effect off on the clip.

  • ApplyAction

Writes the grade into Lumetri Color on the grabbed clip, and other selected clips if it's among them; then checks the render.

Click tool 4

  • Drag toneTool

Dragging up or down brightens or darkens blacks, shadows, exposure, highlights or whites, chosen by the brightness under the pointer.

  • WhiteTool

Clicking something white or grey sets the white balance so that spot comes out neutral.

  • SkinTool

Clicking skin shifts the midtone balance so its hue lands on the vectorscope skin line.

  • BlackTool

Clicking something that should be black sets each channel's black point from it.

View 4

  • Before | afterTool

Shows the original left of a draggable line and the grade right of it; holding Q shows the whole original.

  • False colourTool

Paints the preview in eight exposure zones, from Crushed to Clipped, with a legend.

  • Skin guideTool

Paints skin-like pixels green on the skin line, yellow or magenta when they lean off it; the rest greyed.

  • Pixel readoutTool

Hovering over the picture shows that spot's RGB values and luma before and after the grade.

Scope 5

  • WaveformTool

Shows a luma waveform of the graded frame, 0 to 100.

  • ParadeTool

Shows red, green and blue waveforms of the graded frame side by side.

  • VectorscopeTool

Shows hue and saturation of the graded frame with the skin line and 75% colour targets.

  • HistogramTool

Shows how many pixels sit at each level, per red, green and blue channel.

  • Vectorscope zoomTool

Zooms the vectorscope to 1×, 2× or 4×.

  • Your looksPreset

Applies a look you saved (tone and look), keeping this shot's white balance; its × deletes it.

Sets how strongly the chosen film look shows, 0 to 100%; double-click resets to 100%.

  • CopyAction

Copies the whole current grade to paste onto another clip.
