Where the transition goes 2
- Between layersTool
Places the transition at every junction of the selected layers, stretching them past the cut when their footage allows.
- At the playheadTool
Places one transition at the playhead over everything below it, or just above the top selected layer.
Transitions 15
- PushPreset
Moves both layers a frame's width so the next pushes the last out; Slide style moves only the top one.
- Zoom throughPreset
Scales the picture up into the cut around a centre point, then settles, with motion blur and a soft blur.
- WhipPreset
Pans the picture a whole frame with Offset, fastest at the cut, with a Directional Blur streak.
- SpinPreset
Rotates the picture half a turn into and out of the cut at 100 % strength, growing slightly, with mirrored corners.
- Circle revealPreset
Reveals the next layer through a growing circle matte from a centre; at the playhead a coloured disc covers the cut.
- Shape wipePreset
Sweeps an angled colour band across to reveal the next layer; at the playhead a colour wall covers the cut.
- SplitPreset
Splits the outgoing layer into two halves sliding apart using a copy; at the playhead colour doors close and open.
- BlindsPreset
Opens a set number of stripes one after another to the next layer; at the playhead coloured stripes close and open.
- PixelatePreset
Grows Mosaic blocks up to the cut and shrinks them back, up to 64 px at 100 % strength.
- Blur dissolvePreset
Blurs both layers while the top one fades into the other; at the playhead a blur peaks at the cut.
- Light flashPreset
Brightens and glows into the cut and fills the frame with the chosen colour at the cut itself.
- GlitchPreset
Adds stepped tears, jolts, swapped colour channels and a shifted red copy around the cut.
- Ink revealPreset
Grows a blot with a Turbulent Displace edge from a centre as a matte; at the playhead a colour blot covers the cut.
- IrisPreset
Closes the frame to a circle, star or rounded box with colour around it, then opens on the next shot.
- Swipe cardPreset
Lifts the top layer like a card with a drop shadow and swipes it off in the chosen direction.
