A library of ready After Effects expressions: pick one, set its options, apply it to selected properties, then edit, remove or bake it to keyframes. 34 tools, presets, styles, effects and actions in 8 groups. mouzeexpr comes with mouzeclick: one plan with everything included, $25 a month.

Motion 6

  • Inertial bouncePreset

After each keyframe the value overshoots and settles, or bounces back, using the speed it arrived with.

  • ElasticPreset

Moves between keyframes on a springy curve that overshoots and wobbles into place, with amplitude, bounces and decay.

  • OscillatePreset

Adds a sine wave back-and-forth on one axis or all, with an optional phase offset per layer down the stack.

  • DriftPreset

Adds a slow smooth seeded noise wander to the value, so each layer drifts its own way.

  • Squash and stretchPreset

Stretches a layer's Scale with its on-screen speed and squashes it across, keeping volume.

  • Time spinPreset

Rotates at a steady degrees-per-second rate on top of existing keyframes, optionally counting from the layer's start.

Time 6

  • LoopPreset

Repeats keyframes after the last or before the first as cycle, ping-pong, offset or continue.

  • Random holdPreset

Jumps to a new seeded random value every few frames between Min and Max and holds it.

  • Delay followPreset

Copies the same property of the layer above or a leader layer, delayed by some frames.

  • Value from markerPreset

Holds the value at each layer marker until the next, or uses numbers or text from marker comments.

  • BlinkPreset

Switches the value between full and a low level at a steady rate, like a cursor or warning light.

  • Auto-fadePreset

Fades the value in over the layer's first frames and out over its last, following trims.

Text 4

  • Countdown / clockPreset

Source Text counts down or up from a start time in seconds, M:SS, H:MM:SS, hundredths or timecode frames.

  • Number formatPreset

Source Text shows a slider's number rounded, with thousands separators, decimal mark, plus sign and text before and after.

  • Text from listPreset

Source Text shows one row and column of a pasted list or CSV, picked by a Row slider or layer number.

  • TypewriterPreset

Source Text types on at a set characters per second after a delay, with an optional blinking cursor mark.

Layout 5

  • Stick toPreset

Position sticks to a point on another layer (anchor, middle or top left) and follows it, with offset and mix.

  • Look atPreset

Rotation turns the layer so its right side points at a target layer, with angle offset and mix.

  • Path followPreset

Position travels along another layer's mask or shape path by Progress, optionally looping and turning Rotation along it.

  • Box to textPreset

A shape rectangle's Size, Position and Roundness wrap a text layer with padding and corner radius as text changes.

  • Snap to gridPreset

Rounds the value to steps with an offset: whole pixels, a layout grid or angle steps.

Utility 3

  • ClampPreset

Keeps the value between a Min and a Max, on one axis or all.

  • Keep stroke widthPreset

Keeps a shape's Stroke Width the same on screen however the layer or its parents are scaled.

  • Parent-free scalePreset

The layer keeps its own on-screen size when its parent scales, on chosen axes, while still moving and turning.

Apply and edit 4

  • ApplyAction

Puts the picked expression and its Expression Controls on every selected property it fits; Alt-click replaces your own expressions.

  • UpdateAction

Changes the selected mouzeexpr expression and its controls in place, leaving keyframed settings as they are.

  • Done editingAction

Leaves editing mode and goes back to applying new expressions.

  • RemoveAction

Takes mouzeexpr expressions off the selected properties or layers, and their controls no longer read.

Bake to keyframes 2

  • Bake the selectedAction

Turns selected mouzeexpr expressions into linear keyframes over the work area, then removes the expression and controls.

  • Fewer keysAction

When baking, keeps only the keyframes needed to stay within a percentage tolerance instead of one per frame.

Find and favourites 4

  • Find an expressionTool

Filters the expression list by name, description, group or what it works on; Enter picks the first match.

  • Favourite starAction

Stars an expression to keep it in a Favourites group at the top of the list.

  • Show only your favouritesAction

Shows only starred expressions in the list.

  • How it worksAction

Opens the guide entry with steps for the picked expression.

More in mouzeexpr

24 expressions in five groups (Motion, Time, Text, Layout, Utility). Each expression's settings become Expression Controls named 'mouzeexpr <Tag> <Label>' on the layer. The Update button and Done editing bar only appear while a property carrying a mouzeexpr expression is selected. All changes are single undo steps.
